Case Studies

University of Minnesota – Fairview Hospital 11th Floor Pediatric Renovation

All of the panels, flooring and AHU components were staged offsite. ClimateCraft sequenced the pallets per the direction by the mechanical contractor as to how they wanted to build the unit from the supply end to the return in order to accommodate the tight mechanical room for the AHU. All of the pallets were brought to the site and disassembled to fit into an 8’x 8’ elevator up to the 11th floor mechanical room. The mechanical contractor assembled the Access AHU in 5 days. The pressure test was over 12” and the pressure test passed with everyone’s approval. No caulking was used for sealing only the gaskets that came with the Access AHU.
